Steps

Confirm your device model and region.
Create your PLAUD account through the official app.
Complete official device pairing and firmware setup.
Review the responsible-use and source-recording boundaries.
Record a short harmless test (e.g. reading a paragraph aloud).
Confirm the transcript appears and is legible.

WHAT NOT TO DO

Do not record people without a lawful basis or required consent.
Do not treat the website as a transcript archive.
Do not upload raw recordings to public locations.

PASS EVIDENCE

A harmless test recording exists with a readable transcript in your PLAUD account.

IF IT FAILS

Re-pair the device from the official app; if the transcript is missing, retry the test recording before continuing.
